That's assuming you need Harlock to hook you up. Play via Discord? Dicebots are free. Don't even need a VTT. Rules? Free. Dice? Free. Play space? Discord is free. You need not spend a penny, gamer.

This is what Wizards of the Coast aims to fix, and they're going to fix it by forcing a trade in costs in return for frictionless convenience. WOTC can, and will, get people paying for the game by microtransacting the hell out out it. People are already hopelessly yoked to Beyond; WOTC has already won here, so now we're just going to see repeated victory laps as the Cargo Cult gets crushed.

Only the Clubhouse competes and wins by not competing on the same terms.
