The Culture: When You Don't Read The Manuals (Horror Edition)

Wizards of the Coast (and TSR before that) "didn't touch it" because it didn't need to.

These people either don't Real The Fucking Manuals or they are deliberately obtuse, and in the Professor's case it's the latter because he knows that many monsters in the game are horror shows waiting to happen.

• Undead often "reproduce" by turning their victims into more of them.
• Green Slime does the same thing.
• Slaad do the same thing in multiple ways.
• (Neo)Otyugs are in filth-infested lairs; good luck not catching something if you get wounded hunting, fighting, or escaping one.
• Monsters with increased odds of Surprise? Ambush predators; couple with Grapple and Overbear attacks and you have classic jumpscares with teeth.

You don't need to make shit up; you need to only follow what is already there to its conclusion and you'll get all the horror you will ever need. The Professor's point is rebutted, and so is the justification for publishing this crap.
