The Professor reports that, as I said would happen, the middling slop merchants are going down.
As reported previously, the first wave getting destroyed are boardgame wankers who print in China.
These are companies that shill products that have a lot of physical elements to them, which is why China getting fucked by tariffs wrecked them. It doesn't help that a lot of them also dealt in licenses from Ubisoft, Marvel, and other pozzed corporations who are also feeling the pain and thus are going to stiff and cut off partners like this.
I could not be happier.
These are the retards that, by their own admission, took a hobby--a luxury pursuit--and made into a job by which they earn a living solely by begging on Kickstarter. That was never sustainable; if this didn't happen, something else would about the same time to achieve the same result because this is, at best, a transitional stage to being overtaken by bots and dirt-cheap Print On Demand options so that you had no more viable business that way either.
This is not just a mass deskilling that's going down. It's also a mass destruction of revenue-generating activity. This is a luxury that can be made for free by bots; why would you ever pay for this?

Put the fries in the bag, wagie.
Entertainment is no longer commercially viable. You will have to make your living doing something that is fundamental to the economy, or join the military, or (if you can, and most of you can't) take your retirement now.
