The Business: Even Conventional Play Cargo Cultists Are Noticing Now

Pat is not happy. Pat found out that AAA Gaming Pre-Ordering has arrived with Current Edition.

Pat should not be happy about it. No one should be happy about it. Nonetheles you all know at least one person who is this:

Sorcerers By The Sea said that C-Suite would depreciate Physical in favor of Digital, making Physical a Premium Collectable product and here we are.

The evidence of the medium switch keeps piling up, but folks ain't believing it still. There's a point past which you find that there's no one left to persuade, and I think we're getting close to that. Past that point you're aiming to prevent third parties from falling into the suck more than convincing anyone in it to get out.

This is the end result of following, without consideration, the commercial incentives present on the ground. Conventional Play is going to become a videogame-only affair within a decade, or less, and with it the commercial viability of the tabletop end follows. Your options remain "Clubhouse, Vidya, or Quit".
