Refering to the latest Dad of Bore game.
If I get all of the satisfaction of playing your videogame from watching a playthrough of it--or worse, just watching the cutscenes--you didn't make a game worth paying for.

Get shit on.
This is why I refuse to buy games until they're released and I see playthroughs. Even if you pass through this filter, I still would rather wait for a "complete" edition with all the addons and other shit that you nickel-and-dime people for as well as all the technical fixes patched in, and put it on sale so I can get it for $20 or less- preferably FAR less.
There is no benefit anymore to having the latest on release, and that's even becoming true of MMORPGs- the last redoubt of this mentality. I would rather wait for those filters to cull most of what is released so that I know for certain that I'm getting a solid value for my purchase, and since that money has to compete with tabletop RPGs that's a high standard to meet.
Don't bore me. Don't disrespect me. Earn that money, or I'm just going to go spend it on some material to use for the next batch of maps and chits I plan to print out.
