Dragon Award winner and nominee Brian Niemeier began a Twitter thread today on the Star Wars franchise, with the aim of helping people recreate its success in order to make new Intellectual Property that can supercede that dying franchise and its influence on the culture.
Folks are calling for a new breakout IP to replace the shambling corpse of Star Wars. That's good.

"But how can we do it?" they ask.
It can be done. I'll tell you how. It'll ruffle some feathers, but you'll see why no one's done it yet.@DaddyWarpig @NickColeBooks pic.twitter.com/wydzWJc8Gj
You ought to take the time to read it, and participate if you can contribute. In the meantime spread the word about those of us who've begun this journey and are trying to satisfy the audience that the Devil Mouse Empire forsook, abjured, condemned, and defamed in their malice and folly.
My contribution can be found at Amazon, as can that of Mr. Niemeier and several others. Each of us takes the issue from very different perspectives, but we're all out to satisfy that underserved audience and give it what it wants- and needs.
