You can tell that Gen Con was weaksauce this year behind this came out earlier this week.
That video was one long example of the meme.
"Controversial options?" To whom, Gritah? Acting like people such as the Pundit, Black Lodge Games, Diversity & Dragons, etc. are Le Epic Edgybois With Shockhorror Takes is why I (and others) look at you (and the cohort of YouTube channels you're in) as grifting wankers and not real gamers.
The #BROSR is where the edge is, and the cutting edge is (as of this post) the young bloods in the #BROXT. Beasty-Boy here wouldn't know controversial (and therefore paradigm-shifting) if it bit him in the ass.
He's the same sort of guy who still thinks that 1970 was 30 years ago. (h/t to Fictional Influence for that)
The thing that really gets me is that he knows the Bros exist, because he knows that Braunstein exists due to the Bros reviving it, so he does know where the edge is in Tabletop so he's being a lying, grifting faggot in this video. He knows better, and fakes otherwise for clout, clicks, and (he hopes) ad revenue.
Alex Jones does this routine better.
