This episode took a while to talk gaming, but that's okay; that fantastic adventure fiction stuff still matters.
Fiction: Most of the complaints are, as noted in the chat by Night Danger, a lack of Fantastic Adventure fiction for men; the contemporary Men's Adventure thrillers are doing just fine, as are the classics, so it's only the Big Fantastic Genre Fiction stuff that's been terminally pozzed by Feminists and Communists.
As I noted, this is primarily an Anglophone problem. You're seeing this lessen or disappear when looking at other languages; just look at all the Light Novels, Web Novels, and Manga out there and you'll see plenty for men to read- and that's just the Japanese market. Other markets have their own Things For Men; some of them may even be translated into English.
The good news is that the indie scene has exploded to satisfy that underserved audience and the attempts to gatekeep them out of the bazaar have failed (so far).
Gaming: Cirsova's one of the Bros and has been from the get-go.
While not nearly so loud on Gaming as in Fiction, his contributions as part of the #BROSR will not be denied; you heard it here- there are rules and mechanics specifically to link together disparate tables in AD&D1e, which makes my position that the Real Game is a decentralized network of hobbyists tables far more substantive than you might think.
All of which is to say that Cirsova deserves your money.
