This went down last night at 8pm Central Time. You wanted to be there.
This turned out to be quite the conversation.
After some introductory info, necessary for those not up with the #BROSR and the revival of Braunstein, we get to the meat: the practicality of running the Real Game, be it using ACKS or AD&D1e.
BDubs was in good form: getting Macris to confess to his past as a Theater Kid, keeping the Shadowmarks in check, giving real advice on how to play the Real Game in forms people could use right then and there, and how things became as they are now with the Bros.
There's plenty of wisdom to be had here once you parse the Rhetoric. There is no need to repeat the mistakes of others; learn from what others did first, get the benefits, and apply them to your own Clubhouse's campaigns.
If you missed it, it's worth your time to catch the archive.
(N.B.: I wasn't kidding about the mansions. Here's a few to consider where the hobby began.)
