The Culture: The Tutorial Boss Faces Someone Other Than A Games Journalist

The Pundit pissed off Black Lodge Games.

Two hours of Big Mad.

Two hours of receipts.

Two hours of Noticing.

While the Pundit saw this shitstorm coming and put out a video a few days before attempting to get ahead of it, BLG's receipts overwhelm that effort.

This isn't as bad as what's come out about Neil Gaiman, but it's still bad.

And yes, this very much paints the Pundit as being akin to Ethan Van Sciver (and the OSR akin to Comicsgate), which is--simply put--crippled and catamite.

Not good for the Pundit or the OSR. The Bros, on the other hand, are unaffected; we have games to play, so this is a sideshow going on in our peripheral vision.

This is what happens when you lose sight of why you do what you do, and the Pundit lost the plot as certain as Sciver did (and others of similar type out there). Pundit needs to play real games, but he is as much a Conventional Play Cargo Cultist as the SOBS Sadsacks that he railes again.

But that requires short-circuiting Normie Ego Defense so that isn't going to happen, and he's facing a threat from someone better than a Games Journalist so he's in trouble- especially since he is utterly dependent upon sourcing revenue from the West (i.e. in USD, Pounds, Euros, etc.) to live as he prefers in Uruguay (which, by the way guys, is not Le Shithole Country; nothing called "The Switzerland of South America" is a cheapass shithole) so he's feeling a threat to his money and acting accordingly.

And if he doesn't Git Gud soon, he's going to lose this fight and be wrecked.

Bros, look upon this and remember to never let yourself becoming a LOLcow like the Pundit has become by forgetting why you do what you do- because the Pundit has, and this is what has become of it.
