Today, at 3:55 pm Central Time, one of the best BattleTech lore channels (after The Black Pants Legion) drops a must-see video.

You do not want to miss this one. It's going to be a banger. Seeing how the Liberation of Earth actually goes down will be fascinating to watch.

I don't know if he, like Tex and the BPL, go on to address the Exodus and the rise of the Clans or not or if he goes straight to the First Succession War. If he doesn't say what comes next, drop the man a line and tell him what you'd like to see.

Speaking of Tex, the BPL dropped a trailer for their next video:

And Discount Tex (Big Red) dropped a three hour video on the Stone Rhino that also addressed Clan Smoke Jaguar's rise and fall.

BattleTech's lore community on YouTube is now on par with that for SpaceMace 39K, with Tex in the position of Luetin09 (who also has a new video out, go watch it) as Gold Standard Lore Channel against which others are measured.

What these lore channels do, aside from unpaid marketing and advertising for the associated brand, is to remind players that (a) wars are conducted for a reason, which decides what the objectives are and thus what defines Win and Loss Conditions and (b) morale (belief) and logistics (economics) are real issues that have to be mastered in order to succeed.

And you don't have to give anyone a penny to enjoy it.
