My Life In Fandom: Original Isekai On The Gab, A New Harlock Essay, & The Pundit Dunks On Fake D&D Again

Today, at 1pm Central Time, the brightest light in Israeli fantastic fiction returns to Geek Gab. Yakov Merkin returns to talk about his original isekai series "Light Unto Another World" and what's new and awesome coming soon about that as well as the usual Warpig rants and Dorrinal observations.

This will be a good time. I'll be there in the chat, and you'll want to hit up Yakov's campaign on Kickstarter (here) after the show to back this project.

After the show, stay on YouTube and hit up this video essay by KaisarBeamz:

"KYOTO VIDEO finally delves into the storied Captain Harlock and his cinematic 1982 origin story Arcadia of My Youth. A that film not only wanted to show the beloved captain's beginnings, but also show us how Romanticism can flourish in a decade where sci-fi anime was growing cynical."

He's got video essays on a lot of classic anime, so the Anime Boomers crew ought to get in touch with him to have him on and talk shop.

Then there's the Pundit.

"For some reason (what could it be?) WoTC is not really pushing these four things about Radiant Citadel in how they sell it to regular gamers..."

To no one's surprise, Current Year D&D and its fellow travelers is full of poz and trash and therefore Wankers By The Beach (and its fellow travelers) cannot be trusted.

Don't give money to people that hate you. Find someone better; the Pundit doesn't hate you, and so it is with the OSR generally and the #BROSR in particular (so long as you're not a Death Cultist, but then you'll just filter yourself out).

Pundit ought to know what he speaks of; he's been subjected to a vile enough example that he moved hemispheres and learn a second language to acquire citizneship in a more friendly country, and then went on to not only make a good living designing and publishing tabletop RPG materials but to buy a house. That's fantastic.

So yeah, check out Pundit's stuff. Check out other OSR games like Stars Without Number. Check out Basic Fantasy. Or play AD&D 1st Edition as intended and join the #EliteLevel of the #BROSR that knows how to #wintatRPGs.

You don't need OldPub, Current Year D&D, or crap Beanmouth SJW cartoons. There's clean alternatives to all those things, some indie and some not. Go with those and starve the Death Cult of your money and attention.
