My Life As A Gamer: It's Former E3 Time, And There's Nothing Of Note To Talk About

Sony did their Summer State of Play. Devolver Digital is doing their online presentation soon. It's June, so in the ruins of E3 all the companies that formerly did feature showcases are now doing them entirely online.

So far, I have seen nothing that excites me, even if I appreciate some new info for past announcements. It really is a massive global slump for AAA videogames and those that aspire to be such, and therefore the only things that catch my attention are indies, small press, and re-releases of old games.

As of today, no such news has reached my ears. I've heard things, and I've seen things, but nothing so far that has me excited enough to throw it on a Wish List at Amazon or wherever. I would like that to change, but I am not holding out hope, especially after the recent Games Workshop releases where they give off all the same tells of shit games that Stupid Irvine Company does when they know their releases are trash.

I have a massive backlog of games to play across multiple platforms. I can do with nothing coming out for a few years.
