Narrative Warfare: An Observation In Light Of The Ongoing Convergence of AAA Gaming

Expect more of this fuckery as AAA Gaming overtakes film and television as the primary entertainment medium in the West.

The fuckery at issue is the conspiratorial collusion between a corporation and a government agency, one that undermines the ability of other government agencies to function as intended.

The issue is the same as that of regulatory capture: the stakes are so great that mitigation of risk requires suborning any organization that could inhibit the mission and turn it into an asset that faciliates it instead. This goes beyond regulatory capture in that the motivation is driven by something other than ordinary greed, but takes on the character of religious fanaticism due to the utility of the collusion: to faciliate Narrative Warfare.

We are now well aware that the Death Cult works through Narrative Warfare. As with lesser forms of gaslighting, this requires a hermetic seal to maintain effectivness and thus inevitably moves to a totalitarian position--"All within the Narrative, Naught beyond the Narrative"--due to the inherent fragility that anything built upon information control possesses. This means that as soon as something that threatens that seal catches their notice, the Cult must converge it to end that threat.

In practice, convergence at the greatest scope and scale requires using public and private power in concert--proving that "public" and "private" are convenient fictions and not reality--and this is alleged to have happened in this action. This including using state power to protect private partners. The argument here between California and the US Federal Government is that the latter's agency moved to protect the target of the former's expressed operations in pursuit of its stated mission objective by wielding Federal Supremacy as a shield via a very favorable Consent Decree.

In return, the corporation's operations reorient to support Narrative Warfare pushes; we've already seen this with the non-sensical revisionism of the World Wars in recent entries of Call of Duty (and its "competitor" Battlefield). Policy changes, acccompanied by personnel changes, push Death Cult narratives while giving Cultists sinecures (and offloading their purported workloads on to the very people they hate), which has the very predictable effect of ruining output and thus forcing the corporation to become a drug addict constantly going to Blackrock or the government for more money- until they're too broken to bother with, at which point they are allowed to collapse.

All this locust-like parasitic consumption just to avoid the risk of being found out.

If the Death Cult is willing and able to go to that extreme, then what they'll be found out doing must be sufficient to provoke genocidal violence in retribution.

No wonder then that they cannot abide threats to their narrative; it is literally a life-or-death matter to them.

Let's pop that bubble and see what happens.
