The Business: When You're Shot (Metaphorically) By Accident- Fortnite Closes In China

West Taiwan loses Fortnite. Norway's best shitposter Arch explains.

This is an indirect effect of Winnie's attacks on the Jiang faction, who are based in internationalist economic sectors such as entertainment and that means gaming.

Just as Evergrande's collapse and the rolling blackouts will have rippling effects going outward from West Taiwan's real estate and power sectors, so does Winnie The Pooh hammering West Taiwanese media to shit on and shut down his internal enemies have such effects.

LinkedIn shutting down its West Taiwan operations is similar. They were not directly targetted. They were effected by a direct targetting of others in its niche of operations, and so decided to pull the plug before they got hammered by Pooh's honey-grubbing claws.

Not that anyone with any sense wants to stay operating in West Taiwan if they have the option to get out.

The rolling blackouts, financial collapse, logistics collapse, infrastrucuture collapse, increasingly obvious corruption of officials and elites, increasingly obvious civil war within the ChiComs between Winnie and Jiang, India--fucking India--routinely shit-kicking the People's Liberation Army around, and wealthy rats fleeing the ship via buying citizenship and residency abroad (often via real estate, business, or donation-based means that are entirely legal in the country at issue) shows that this would-be colossus is a paper tiger on the fast track to yet another episode of warlords and civil war.

Taiwan is not only safe from West Taiwan, we ought to be considering that West Taiwan will have the opportunity to reunify the Han under the old Nationalist banner sooner than later if it wants. The only real threat is economic colonization by corrupt elites fleeing the country and, without even thinking about it, forming ethnic colonies wherever they settle and moving to dominate local affairs there- and that is already being recognized and addressed in countries like Malaysia. As this realization spreads, so will moves to choke out and remove those colonies (and colonists).

So don't worry about Taiwan or Fortnite. Both are going to be fine. Spare a prayer for the innocents in West Taiwan, but otherwise consider this threat exposed as a mirage and dismiss it as bullshit.
