Year Seven Begins Now

There is but one plan for the coming year: get more Star Knight books out.

This blog will remain the primary point of communication, with the side blogs getting less frequent updates, and I am going to attempt to push the post updates to a regular schedule rather than just be done sometime during the day. In other words, actually blocking out time to write them and not coming at it haphazardly like I'm slipping in some reading on the job during other things.

As for other writing projects, I could take all my posts on game design and rework them into a book-length manuscript but that's not something I'm entertaining at this time. The state of tabletop design remains a hot mess, and that's echoed in videogames, so the folks that need to hear it are neither willing nor able to do so and those that do get it and are in a position to exploit that knowledge are already doing so- and profiting handsomely.

That is all I have to say this time around. The last year has been a quite humbling experience, and I've tempered my expectations and ambitions accordingly. I shall carry on, make good what needs to be done, and be better prepared for the unexpected as I likely cannot expect any other Black Swans to leave me as mercifully untouched as I have to date.
