I have reached the age where getting socks is a welcome gift.
No, I did not get any this year. Instead, my family decided I needed to rotate my wardrobe; two new pairs of pants, a new winter coat, a new sweater, and a new pair of jeans. Add in an Amazon gift card, some root beer, and a reloadable McDonalds gift card and that's the haul. (The stocking had snacks.)
Right now my only question is how to make use of that Amazon card.
- Pick up a print copy of The Ancient City
- Pick up a print copy of The Ancient Law
- Pick up another volume in a fiction series I'm reading.
- Pick up another product for assessment at the Clubhouse.
- Add to the video library.
I'll figure that out soon enough. In the meantime, here's something for you folks to enjoy.
Yes, again, fans are doing more and better advertising for corporate properties than the IP owners themselves.
Yes, again, this is proof that "lore" is for Narrative media and turning games into Brands- not for the real hobby; in the real hobby, "lore" is "What the players' mans did previously", and nothing makes this clearer than BattleTech.
Now excuse me while I decide on what to buy for my library. Here's Jon Mollison doing a channel update.
