I got my Twitter account back. I put in the appeal before going to bed late last night, and I woke up to the reversal being in my Inbox. All I did was follow the instructions that Jon del Arroz laid out below to the letter, which is in the video below (and advanced to get to the point).
That's all it took.
There's a reason for this. That reason is that Twitter automates ban appeals. If you fill out the appeal form as described, you do not trip the Human Review switches and barring anything the bot is programmed to reject you're automatically restored to access of that account.
That says a lot about Twitter right there. Elon's right to be suspect about everything going on there.
So go ahead, give it a go. Assuming you want to be on Twitter--I decided to do it to further future aims, to be addressed later--it may be easier than it seems to get back on. However, it is also true that you should diversify off Twitter and not rely on it exclusively; I do Minds, MeWe, Poast (Fediverse), and Gab and I post links there to drive traffic here.
