The anniversary week continues because a lot of classics debuted in Japan the during the first 10 days of the month over the years. Today? Grendizer.
On the 5th of October 1975, the 1st episode of UFO Robot Grendizer aired. It is the 3rd entry in the Mazinger trilogy. Created by Go Nagai, the series ran for 74 episodes & debuted in SRW 2 (NES) in 1991.

Happy 45th Anniversary Grendizer 🎉 pic.twitter.com/GdvFxqELIb
Technically this was Monday, but as you can see I've spread them out.
Grendizer is, alas, not one of the Super Robots that super-famous these days unlike Mazinger Z or Getter Robo. It's due for rediscovery, and the hope among fans is that its recent "Infinitism" model kit release will lead to an "Infinity" style feature film like what Mazinger Z got. It should get, at the least, a remaster and upscale prior to a new home video/streaming release aimed to reacquaint the (often woefully uninformed) anime fans with the classics of the past.
And I hope this leads to popular revivals of other shows that now only get attention due to recent Super Robot Wars appearances like Daitarn 3 and Zambot 3.
