Yes. I'm saying exactly that.
It's literally our rite of passage into manhood.
And women, by and large, neither care nor want to--and, in fact, are actively disgusted by it--which is why men don't talk about it. Those all-male gatherings were as much to band together to cope better as it was to do anything else, especially anything outdoors like camping trips.
And you wonder why some of us outright wept when playing Final Fantasy XV. We know. Those who've endured trauma on a mass scale tend to be more forgiving, and if you want to know what I mean see this week's post at "Empire Must Fall".
