One of the most influential anime of the 1980s returns in a brand-new Kickstarter project by AnimEgo co-founder Robert Willson, and it aims to release a Blu-Ray quality physical release and get out as much additional material as possible.
Having any of the originals involved, and willing to contribute if stretch goals are met, is huge. And yes, we're already talking stretch goals because funding has already been met just two days in as of this post. I won't waste space here repeating what the campaign video and page spell out, so watch it and read that to get more info; if I had the cash to throw at this, I'd do it in a heartbeat because the artbook alone is worth the price of that minimum backer tier.
They don't make 'em like this anymore, literally, so get your hands on a classic while you can.
