Narrative Warfare: The Gaslighting Element

This is garden-variety bullshit gaslighting, but it's part of a common Narrative Warfare tactic.

See that? That's very standard gaslighting, where the abuser brownbeats the target into accepting a lie as truth--in this case, that the target is obligated to aide the abuser in order to remain consistent on a position that the abuser abused the target about heretofore--and in and of itself is an act of Evil. (Refer to the previous post on the ethical dimension of Narrative Warfare).

When a government suddenly turns to some opposition and pulls this stunt, it's gaslighting in preparation for a positional shift in their Narrative Warfare campaign. Same thing applies when a corporation, or any other group, does it. Watch for this pattern; it's a reliable tell that you're dealing with someone who knows what they're doing--a willful predator--and not a simple deluded useful idiot.

And when you do encounter them? Crush them, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.
