Hasbro feels the heat over fucking up the Bayformers and being unable to do anything else that sticks--no, T1 didn't--like the OG did. Turns out that hand-painted animation cells have a particular kind of magic over the minds of the audience, because this original flavor consistently hooks new fans year on year over whatever came after. The merch sales and tie-in media (i.e. videogames) proves it.
